This event couldn’t happen without help from a large group of volunteers. There are so many wonderful opportunities to help, with each and every volunteer pulling together to put the pieces of this large puzzle together.
Being a volunteer at a race is a great way to be part of the community and to check out a race you may want to participate in another year. Your presence means a lot to our organizers and participants. There are even some jobs you can sign up for AND still race!
All that we ask that you arrive when your job asks you to arrive, and that you stay until your job is complete and show enthusiasm for the race. Please come prepared to work hard, give it your all and support the race. Some jobs require that you interact with racers, while others are behind the scenes where you can quietly set-up or clean-up etc. If you are working registration or sales, you will be handling money and working with forms where every bit of information is important. These jobs are perfect for you if you enjoy the fast pace of a race morning.
The positions that require you to be on course helping direct racers are excellent if you enjoy cheering people on and helping them stay on the course. Course safety biking is an excellent job for you if you like to ride your bike and interact with racers.
Any and all of the jobs are vitally important on race day! We are grateful for your help and look forward to seeing you there.
