Friday June 2. Packet Pick-up from 3-7 in the Elementary School Auditorium. We encourage you to come on Friday if you can to avoid lines on race day morning.
Race Day Schedule
- 8:30 -10:15 a.m. Same Day Registration/Packet Pick-Up
- 10 a.m. Fun Run
- 10:30 a.m. 5K race
Please Note: Headsets are permitted. Be safe and keep one ear free and/or volume low. Use at your own risk. For the safety of all runners, no dogs allowed, except official guide dogs. Strollers are permitted but we do not permit bicycles, rollerblades, scooters or other wheeled objects.
5K
The May Day 5K course is the perfect route for adults and children of all abilities! This course is mostly flat with only moderate changes in elevation, making it very family friendly while providing the perfect opportunity for a PR for seasoned runners and newbies alike. We welcome and encourage walkers in our race.
This 5K course is a USATF certified course. It begins and ends on the Trumansburg Central School campus, while winding through the Village of Trumansburg. Participants will find two water stops along the route, shortly after mile 1 and again a bit after mile 2.
Youth Fun Run
This race begins at the start of the 5K course and runs on the school campus for about 1/2 mile. Kids ages 12 and under can run through the finish line with the clock running! Parents are welcome to join their children for any portion of this or for the full run. We’re allowing more time this year between the start of the Fun Run and the 5K. This will allow parents ample time to join their children in the Fun Run and still participate in the 5K.
All Fun Runners receive an award for finishing! All pre-registered Fun Runners receive a race t-shirt. *The Fun Run is capped at 100 participants. Parents do NOT need to register for the Fun Run to run with their children, but we do hope you will run the 5K.
Trumansburg May Day 5K
