2026 Schedule

Friday May 29:  Packet Pick-up from 3-6 in the Elementary School Cafeteria. We encourage you to come on Friday if you can to avoid lines on race day morning.

Race Day Schedule (Saturday 5/31)

• 8:30-9:30 a.m. Same Day Registration/Packet Pick-Up *We will not take same day registrations past 9:30 AM)
• 10 a.m. Fun Run
• 10:30 a.m. 5K Run/Walk

Please Note: Headsets are permitted. Be safe and keep one ear free and/or volume low. Use at your own risk. For the safety of all runners, no dogs allowed, except official guide dogs. Strollers are permitted but we do not permit bicycles, rollerblades, scooters or other wheeled objects, without prior permission.

5K – Run, Jog, Walk, Stroll!

The May Day 5K course is the perfect route for adults and children of all abilities! This course is mostly flat with only moderate changes in elevation, making it very family friendly while providing the perfect opportunity for a PR for seasoned runners and newbies alike. We welcome and encourage walkers in our race.

The course begins and ends on the Trumansburg Central School campus, while winding through the Village of Trumansburg. Participants will find one water stop along the route, about halfway through the course on Pennsylvania Ave.

Youth Fun Run (not timed)

This race begins at the start of the 5K course and runs on the school campus for about 1/2 mile. Kids ages 12 and under can run through the finish line with the clock running! Parents are welcome to join their children for any portion of this or for the full run (parents- no need to register).

Parents do NOT need to register for the Fun Run to run with their children, but we do hope you will run/walk the 5K.
